Privacy Policy

Last updated October 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Last Leader (“we”, “us”) collects when you use lastleader.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to everything on lastleader.com. Effective date: October 25, 2026.

Who we are

Last Leader is an independent online directory that documents leaders, speakers, founders, public figures and creators. You can reach us at [email protected].

Information you give us

We only collect personal information that you choose to send us:

  • Contact form: your name (optional), email address and message.
  • Get featured form: your name, email address, phone number, profession and the impact summary you write.
  • Emails: anything you include when you write to us directly.

We use this information to reply to you, review applications, correct or update profiles, and handle requests about our content. Form submissions are emailed to our team and stored in our website’s admin area.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, our hosting, security and analytics services receive standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring page and the time of your visit.

  • Google Analytics helps us understand which pages are useful. It uses cookies and similar technologies. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.
  • Cloudflare protects and speeds up the site and may process your IP address and request data for security purposes.

Videos and embedded content

Leader profiles show video thumbnails. A YouTube player only loads after you click a thumbnail, and it uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Once you play a video, YouTube’s own privacy policy applies to that interaction.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them for analytics and for the normal operation of the site. If we ever show advertising, for example through Google AdSense, advertising partners may also use cookies to show and measure ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site (hosting, security, email and analytics), when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.

How long we keep information

We keep messages and applications for as long as we need them to respond, review a profile or keep a record of a request, and then delete them. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of the analytics provider.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal information you have sent us by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR or US state privacy laws, and you may contact your local data protection authority.

Information about leaders on our profiles

Leader profiles are built from publicly available information and, where they apply to be featured, from details they send us. If a profile is about you or someone you represent and you want something corrected or removed, write to us from an address connected to that person and tell us which page it is.

Children

Last Leader is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, but no website or online service can be completely secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and the updated version applies from that date.
